Class 1 Driver - Droitwich
We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers on an ad-hoc basis to meet the needs of the business at our busy Droitwich depot. The role consists of refrigerated multi drop deliveries to shops and stores, From 8 to 15 drops per day. The role involves cage deliveries of milk and some locations you are required to use a tail-lift to push and pull products being delivered.
Immediate starts after successful assessment and Induction.
AD HOC WORK - 1 to 3 shifts per week, must be able to work Saturdays.
- Start times between 03:00 - 07:00
Day pay rates:
- Monday – Friday £15.87 (overtime after 47.5hrs £17.85)
- Saturday £17.85
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £23.80
Nights pay rates:
- Monday – Friday £18.13 (overtime after 47.5hrs £20.39)
- Saturday £20.39
- Sunday and Bank Holidays £27.19
30-minute break deducted per shift only!
Day to day duties will include the following:
- Driving with-in the WTD and EU regs and rules.
- Prepping vehicles for delivery.
- Completing vehicles checks.
- Refueling vehicles.
- Multi drop deliveries.
- The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
- At least 6 Months of Class one driving experience required.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- UK Driving Licence with a Cat C+E entitlement.
- Digi & CPC Card No more than 6 points for minor offences.
